Job Description

Our Deals practice supports corporates, financial institutions and private equity across the full deal lifecycle: strategy, buy- and sell-side M&A, financial due diligence, valuation & modelling, value creation and restructuring. You’ll work in multidisciplinary teams and with international colleagues on cross-border engagements. As a Senior Associate in Deals, you will run workstreams on a variety of transactions and value creation engagements. You’ll work closely with Managers to plan analyses, coordinate junior team members, interact with clients, and help craft clear, insight-led deliverables.
Good To Have:
  • Experience with analytics/visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau) is a plus.
  • French and/or German as strong assets, and any additional language for the Luxembourg market welcome.
  • Professional qualifications (e.g., ACA/ACCA/CPA, CFA) are highly valued.
Must Have:
  • Lead day-to-day workstreams on buy- and sell-side engagements (e.g., M&A process, Financial due diligence) as well as on valuation & modelling assignments.
  • Prepare Teaser, Information memorandum, Buyers/Target list.
  • Analyse historical and forecast performance, quality of earnings, net working capital, cash flows, and key business drivers.
  • Build and review financial models (integrated 3‑statement, LBO, valuation) and perform scenario/sensitivity analyses.
  • Prepare concise client-ready reports, executive summaries and presentations highlighting findings, risks, and value creation opportunities.
  • Prepare valuation analyses (DCF, trading/transaction comps) and contribute to fairness opinions where relevant.
  • Coordinate data requests, manage virtual data rooms, and liaise with client teams and other advisors (Tax, Legal, IT, HR, etc.).
  • Contribute to sector research and thought leadership on M&A trends in Luxembourg.
  • Coach and review the work of Associates/Interns; share feedback and best practices.
  • Uphold risk management, data confidentiality and independence policies.
  • Participate in business development (proposal writing, credentials, market mapping) and internal initiatives (tools, methods, quality reviews).
  • Bring 3–5+ years of relevant experience in Deals/Transaction Services, Corporate Finance, Valuation, Strategy/M&A, or Audit with strong transaction exposure.
  • Have a solid technical grounding in financial accounting (IFRS, LUX GAAP), corporate finance, and financial modelling.
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesise complex information into clear insights and narratives.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, and are comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • Have a team-first mindset with proven ability to organise, prioritise, and deliver under time pressure.
  • Are proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Are fluent in English.
  • Hold a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
