Job Description: Pilot/Sensor Operator

Job Summary
The Pilot/Sensor Operator will be responsible for operating unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and collecting data using various sensors. The successful candidate will have experience in piloting UAVs and operating sensors, as well as a strong understanding of aviation regulations and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain aircraft and sensor systems
- Collect data for various projects
- Ensure safety and compliance with FAA and company regulations
- Communicate effectively with manager and team members
- Perform pre-flight and post-flight checks
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- Participate in training and professional development activities
Qualifications
- Valid FAA pilot's license, valid FAA medical certificate, SEL, MEL
- Experience operating and maintaining aircraft and sensor systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work irregular hours and travel as needed
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in outdoor environments in various weather conditions
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time
