Job Description

Responsible for supporting the planning and control of materials, ensuring the balance between demand and supply. This role involves inventory analysis, supporting purchase order issuance, and monitoring deliveries to maintain healthy stock levels and meet operational needs. The ideal candidate will have a degree or be studying Administration, Engineering, Logistics, or related fields, possess intermediate Excel skills, knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, TOTVS), and understanding of MRP and materials management. Daily tasks include monitoring stock, updating dashboards, and managing purchase orders.

Who will you work with?

Wabtec's Material Planning team is committed to generating value by ensuring accuracy in material management and inventory balance. The inventory team will work closely with the purchasing team, factory planning, and Warehouse, ensuring healthy stock levels to meet the company's demands.

How will you make a difference?

Responsible for supporting the planning and control of materials, ensuring the balance between demand and supply. Act in inventory analysis, support the issuance of purchase orders and delivery monitoring, with a focus on maintaining healthy stock levels and meeting operational needs.

What do we want to know about you?

  • Degree or studying in Administration, Engineering, Logistics, or related areas;
  • Intermediate Excel;
  • Knowledge in ERP Systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, TOTVS);
  • Notions of MRP and materials management.

What will your day-to-day be like?

  • Daily monitoring of stock levels and material consumption.
  • Updating spreadsheets and dashboards with inventory indicators.
  • Issuing purchase orders based on demand and consumption analyses.
  • Participating in alignment meetings with internal areas to understand future needs.
  • Supporting the identification of obsolete or slow-moving materials.
  • Suggesting corrective actions to avoid stockouts or excess inventory.
  • Registering and monitoring inventory movements in the ERP system.
