Platform Software Engineer (MSO)

AC Wellness Network LLC is a subsidiary of Apple Inc. and is the dedicated management services organization (MSO) for AC Wellness, a dedicated independent medical group that serves Apple Wellness Centers in Santa Clara Valley. Our mission is to deliver the world’s best healthcare experiences for Apple employees. The MSO is looking for an extraordinary Platform Software Engineer with a background in data engineering and large scale engineering projects. You will enjoy building services that Data Science and Application developers will leverage to shape exceptional experiences for our employees and customers.

As a Platform Software Engineer, you are ready to tackle big problems, enjoy working in an agile and dynamic multi-functional team, love data, and want to make a big impact in health. Some of your characteristics include:

• Passion for data and ML
• Comfortable handling service and ML infrastructure
• Eager to develop new applications and novel product features

This is a site-based role.

• 5 years of experience developing software
• Experience in programming using Go, Python, Java or Kotlin.
• AWS admin experience (preferably its ETL and ML toolset)
• Proven understanding of database technologies including NoSQL and SQL.
• Consistent track record of shipping services in production environments for consumer facing products

• Excellent communication skills
• Works well in and across teams
• Successful in a self directed environment
• Comfortable with weekly on-call rotation
• Reliable and responsive to support the team’s needs
• Nice to have experience handling Pen Testing and Secure Applications

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $181,100 and $272,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
