The Video Applications team continues this legacy, shipping best-in-class video products including Final Cut Pro, Motion, Compressor, iMovie, and more. We're looking for a strong software engineer to help develop these applications and deliver the next generation of AI/ML features that empower creative professionals worldwide.As a Software Engineer on the Video Applications team, you'll design and implement high-quality features that directly impact millions of creative professionals. You'll tackle complex technical challenges across our video editing applications, working with cutting-edge frameworks and technologies on both iOS and macOS. Collaborating closely with engineers across the Video Apps teams, you'll contribute to initiatives that push the boundaries of what's possible in professional video editing on Apple devices.

As a Software Engineer on the Video Applications team, you'll design and implement high-quality features that directly impact millions of creative professionals. You'll tackle complex technical challenges across our video editing applications, working with cutting-edge frameworks and technologies on both iOS and macOS. Collaborating closely with engineers across the Video Apps teams, you'll contribute to initiatives that push the boundaries of what's possible in professional video editing on Apple devices.

• Designing, implementing, and shipping features that solve complex technical challenges
• Writing clean, well-tested code that sets the standard for quality and maintainability
• Participating in and contributing to architecture discussions and code reviews
• Working closely with cross-functional partners to define and implement features that delight our customers

• 1+ yrs of software engineering experience with SwiftUI/Swift or UIKit/AppKit/Objective-C
• Understanding of software engineering and computer science fundamentals, including object-oriented design principles, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a highly collaborative environment
• Self-directed problem solver who can work independently and drive initiatives to completion

• Customer focus and ability to make high-quality, user-centric product and technical decisions
• Genuine passion for professional creative tools and workflows
• Familiarity with video editing
• A passion for creating AI/ML-based features

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $126,800 and $220,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
