Join our dynamic Clearing Operations team, where innovation meets stability. The Post-Trade Services & Risk Associate executes daily Clearing House functions with a focus on operational risk management, communicating with clients and internal teams to resolve system issues and support default management. This role involves monitoring market conditions, analyzing financial obligations for risk coverage, and managing operational and market risk. Must have:
  • Orchestrate solutions by collaborating with technical, development, and internal teams to resolve system complexities.
  • Proactively safeguard against operational and market risk by identifying, analyzing, and mitigating potential threats, abnormal trade activity, and system anomalies.
  • Empower stakeholders as the primary Clearing contact, delivering insights and solutions to customers, business partners, and internal teams on industry dynamics.
  • Generate crucial intelligence through timely reporting for Clearing House Senior Management.
  • Fortify Default Management by providing operational support, addressing trader queries, distributing market data, assisting with portfolio valuation drills, and managing defaulted portfolio transfers.
Good to have:
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools like Google Workspace, Bloomberg, and PC Span.
  • Understanding of fixed income products, particularly Treasuries.

The Post-Trade Services & Risk Associate, executes daily Clearing House functions with a focus on operational risk management. Communicate with external clients and business partners, as well as developers and other internal teams to resolve system issues, develop suitable workarounds, supporting default management operations, and meet internal & external SLAs, while reducing or mitigating risks to our member firm community and internal systems. Additionally, use internal systems to monitor market conditions and clearing firm activity. Analyze financial obligations to ensure adequate risk coverage is in place.

What You'll Do

What You'll Bring

  • 3+ years of experience at an FCM, Broker Dealer, or Clearing House.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools like Google Workspace, Bloomberg, and PC Span is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, adept at engaging diverse audiences.
  • A proven ability to thrive independently and as a collaborative team member.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and organizational capabilities.
  • Understanding of fixed income products, particularly Treasuries, is highly valued.
  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.

The pay range for this role is $75,100-$125,100. Actual salary offered will be dependent on a wide array of factors including but not limited to: relevant experience, skills, education and comparison to internal employees (where relevant).
