Job Description

The NSX chip design team is seeking a Power Design and Architect to be responsible for SOC implementation and validation of NSX devices. This role involves managing pre and post-silicon power calculators, working with design, verification, and Backend teams on PTPX flow, and ramping tools for power optimization and simulation. The architect will also collaborate with the post-silicon validation team on power measurements and drive improvements in design structures, clock gating coverage, and backend power flow.
Must Have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields
  • Over 5 years of proven experience in ASIC VLSI design or Backend
  • Wide knowledge of Power design and understanding of Power techniques and methodologies
  • Good knowledge in VLSI physical-design flow, synthesis, place and route and stages related to power
  • Experience in SoC flows, silicon bring-up, and silicon debug activities
  • Ability to explore new tools, ramp their flows and support their usage by large teams
  • Strong debugging capabilities to identify and solve design or tools issues

What You Can Expect

  • NSX products pre and post silicon power calculators - ramp and maintain
  • PTPX flow - work with design, verification and Backend teams
  • Ramping tools related to power optimization and power simulation and emulation
  • Work with post si chip validation team on product's power measurements
  • Improve power of design structures and improve clock gating coverage
  • Improve backend flow for power

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields
  • Over 5 years of proven experience in ASIC VLSI design or Backend
  • Wide knowledge of Power design and understanding of Powe techniques and methodologies
  • Good knowledge in VLSI physical-design flow, synthesis, place and route and stages related to power
  • Experience in SoC flows, silicon bring-up, and silicon debug activities.
  • Ability to explore new tools, ramp their flows and support their usage by large teams
  • Strong debugging capabilities to identify and solve design or tools issues.
  • Good learning skills, ability to see a broad picture
  • Team work oriented - Communicative, will to learn from others, good personal relations and working relations within a team.
