Job Summary

As an Enterprise Corporate Sales Account Executive at Salesforce, you will be responsible for growing and leading subsidiaries within Enterprise Parent accounts. Your role involves partnering with Strategic Account Managers to promote the Salesforce vision and account strategy. You will act as a trusted advisor to understand customer challenges, propose solutions on the Salesforce Platform, and contribute to business growth in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Must Have

  • Manage complete and complex sales cycles presenting the value of our full suite of applications
  • Develop and execute a strategy to acquire new customers and expand on existing customer relationships
  • Manage and forecast sales activity and opportunities using Salesforce's CRM
  • Work seamlessly with an extended account team, system integrator partners, and channel partners
  • Multi-task, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • 3+ years previous experience in a quota-carrying sales position
  • Proven successful track record of quota achievement in previous sales roles
  • Experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles
  • Excellent persuasive verbal and written communication skills
  • Creative thinker and should possess the ability to resolve critical problems

Good to Have

  • Experience selling to Federal Civilian, State and Local, Department of Defense and/or Aerospace Companies
  • Previous Sales Methodology training
  • Previous Salesforce CRM user experience
  • Strong computer skills (Salesforce, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel)

Role Description:

The Enterprise Corporate Sales team is closely aligned to the Enterprise Business Unit as they partner together on selling to our largest and most complex clients. As an Enterprise Corporate Sales Account Executive, you are responsible for growing and leading subsidiaries within the Enterprise Parent accounts. Your role includes partnering with our Strategic Account Managers to promote the Salesforce vision and account strategy.

You will work closely with current customers and prospective customers as a trusted advisor to deeply understand their unique company challenges and goals. You will coordinate with customers on the Salesforce Platform to propose solutions that will help them reach their business goals and blaze new trails within their organizations. You will contribute to our business growth in a fast paced, collaborative and fun atmosphere, as a valued member of our Ohana.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage complete and complex sales cycles presenting the value of our full suite of applications
  • Develop and execute a strategy to acquire new customers and expand on existing customer relationships to grow account adoption and revenue
  • Manage and forecast sales activity and opportunities using Salesforce's best-in-class CRM
  • Work seamlessly with an extended account team, system integrator partners, and channel partners
  • Multi-task, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

Required Skills:

  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
  • 3+ years previous experience in a quota-carrying sales position
  • Proven successful track record of quota achievement in previous sales roles
  • Experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles
  • Excellent persuasive verbal and written communication skills.
  • Creative thinker and should possess the ability to resolve critical problems

At Salesforce, we believe in equitable compensation practices that reflect the dynamic nature of labor markets across various regions. For Ontario-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is CAD 115,450 to CAD 165,450 annually. The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
