About us

We’re on a mission to help design better cities. According to the UN, more than 90% of future population growth will happen in cities. To respond to this trend in a sustainable way, AEC (Architecture, Engineering and Construction) industry needs a new generation of software tools and disruptive workflows.

We’re building software to help architects, urban planners, and real estate developers find the smartest and most sustainable ways to unlock the potential of any building site. Outcome-based design, which is at the foundation of our product, takes into account living quality, environmental impact, and project profitability.

Spacemaker was acquired by Autodesk in 2020, to be the seed of the next generation of a cloud-based, connected platform for the AEC industry: Forma. We have an extremely exciting journey ahead of us, building out a platform that connects phases and verticals. This is an inspiring journey you don’t want to miss!
