Job Summary
NXP Semiconductors is seeking a Process Engineer in Kuala Lumpur to design, implement, and improve manufacturing processes for semiconductor products. The role involves developing process documentation, conducting DOE for stability, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and supporting NTI/NPI projects. Responsibilities also include root cause analysis, technical support, ensuring compliance with ISO/IATF standards, participating in audits, and providing operator training. The engineer will drive cost reduction, yield improvement, and productivity enhancement initiatives.
Must Have
- Design, implement, and improve semiconductor manufacturing processes.
- Develop and maintain process documentation (SOPs, control plans, FMEA, training manuals).
- Conduct DOE and deep analysis to ensure process stability and capability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer specifications and timelines.
- Support NTI/NPI projects by creating and validating process recipes.
- Analyze root causes of process deviations and implement corrective actions.
- Provide technical support for production and quality teams.
- Ensure processes comply with ISO/IATF standards and customer requirements.
- Participate in internal and external audits.
- Certify operators and provide technical training on process-related tasks.
- Maintain competency records, ensure adherence to safety protocols, apply Six Sigma methodologies.
- Drive cost reduction, yield improvement, and productivity enhancement projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Materials, or related field).
- Fresh graduated or 1-2 years’ experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with process development, optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of semiconductor process flow, equipment operation, and material properties.
- Proficiency in DOE, Control plan, FMEA, problem solving, and root cause analysis skill.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Willingness to support NPI/NTI projects, audits, and operator training.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
Good to Have
- Familiarity with AOI, ink marking, ink bake is an advantage.

Requirements & Qualifications
Education:
