Job Description

This role involves using real-time data, industry trends, and experience to make product decisions, refining ideas through experimentation and iteration. The Product Analyst will deep-dive into vast amounts of real-time data to support product decisions, maintaining a firm grasp of product KPIs and understanding player journeys. Key responsibilities include identifying improvements, conducting A/B tests, analyzing complex data sets of mobile game players, and providing actionable recommendations to shape product roadmaps. The role requires strong analytical thinking, experience with dashboards and visualization tools like Looker, Tableau, Excel, and solid SQL capabilities, along with excellent communication skills.
Must have:
  • Identify improvements, make hypotheses, plan, execute, and analyse A/B tests to improve business metrics.
  • Analyse large, complex data sets representing mobile game player behaviour.
  • Conduct user behaviour deep dives, identifying patterns in critical usage aspects.
  • Use pre/post analyses to understand how product and ecosystem changes affect users and business.
  • Work closely with Product Managers and stakeholders to define meaningful metrics and KPIs.
  • Define and build user segments that deliver business value.
  • Partner with and support Live Operations analysts in defining pricing policy and game economy.
  • Provide actionable recommendations and conclusions from game data to shape features and future product roadmaps.
  • Strong analytical thinking, able to deep dive into details and command a holistic view of a product.
  • Experience reading and creating dashboards.
  • Proficiency with visualisation tools such as Looker, Tableau, and Excel, and solid SQL capabilities.
  • Ability to make decisions on product roadmaps, features & strategies based on data, market trends & experience.
  • Incredible communication skills, ability to articulate complicated data concisely and ask the right questions.

Role Overview

You will be using real-time data, industry trends, your wits and experience to make product decisions. Refining ideas through experimentation and iteration, using data to validate your hypothesis.

In this role you will deep-dive into our vast amount of real-time data in order to support your hunches and product decisions. You will have a firm grasp of your product KPIs and an understanding of your players and their journeys.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify areas for improvement; make hypotheses; plan, execute and analyse A/B tests to improve business metrics.
  • Analyse large, complex data sets representing the behaviour of millions of mobile game players to address strategic and operational business questions.
  • Conduct user behaviour deep dives, identifying patterns in critical usage aspects such as playing, purchasing and churning.
  • Use pre/post analyses to understand how product and ecosystem changes are affecting users and the business.
  • Work closely with Product Managers and other stakeholders to define meaningful metrics and KPIs.
  • Define and build user segments that deliver business value.
  • Partner with and support Live Operations analysts in defining pricing policy and game economy.
