The Product Analytics Manager will lead a team of Product Analysts, shaping Manychat’s product development and strategy. Reporting to the Head of Analytics, this role involves partnering with AI and Advanced features product groups, and Product and Engineering leadership to drive data-informed decisions. Responsibilities include hiring and nurturing the team, scaling the Product Analytics function, running analyses, building dashboards, and developing key capabilities like A/B testing and KPI development, while maintaining a mid- to long-term business view.
Must have:
  • Hire, nurture, and guide a team of Product Analysts.
  • Scale and enhance the Product Analytics function.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering leadership for data-informed decisions.
  • Shape the data and analytics roadmap.
  • Run ad-hoc analyses, build dashboards, and surface insights.
  • Develop and improve Product Analytics capabilities (A/B testing, causal inference, KPI development, segmentation).
  • Think mid- to long-term for business plans.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years in Product Analytics and 2+ years in people management.
  • Ability to collaborate across Analytics, Data, Product, Engineering, and UX.
  • Deep understanding of product metrics and product development principles.
  • Expertise in SQL and working with large datasets.
  • Hands-on experience with Python and/or R.
  • Experience employing statistical and causal inference techniques, including A/B testing.
  • Solid understanding of Analytics technology (event tracking, data warehousing, visualization).
Good to have:
  • Experience with Git.
  • Experience working in SaaS and/or high growth companies.

The Product Analytics Manager plays a crucial role in shaping Manychat’s product development and strategy. You will lead a team of Product Analysts and be part of the Analytics leadership team, reporting to the Head of Analytics. You and your team will work closely with the AI and Advanced features product groups, and you will act as a strategic partner to the Product and Engineering leadership, collaborating closely to drive decisions and to align analytics priorities with business goals.

The ideal candidate has significant experience working in Analytics or a similar area, and in managing and growing people. The candidate also has direct experience in employing Advanced Analytics and Data Science techniques to drive product decisions.

The candidate should be able to work independently with their team and partners, setting goals, managing resourcing and progress, and making decisions. They should also be comfortable navigating uncertainty and ambiguity.

WHAT YOUʼLL DO 🚀

  • Hire, nurture, and guide a team of Product Analysts while fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Scale and enhance the Product Analytics function, building a team, refining processes, running cross functional projects, and strengthening the analytical culture.
  • Partner up with the Product and Engineering leadership to guide and drive data-informed decisions, both tactical and strategic.
  • Shape the data and analytics roadmap, including investments in capabilities and infrastructure.
  • Run ad-hoc analyses, build valuable dashboards, and surface insights.
  • Help in developing and improving key capabilities in the Product Analytics domain, including A/B testing, causal inference, KPI development, and segmentation.
  • Think beyond the day-to-day, taking a mid- to long-term view of the business, and translating it into concrete plans and actions.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE 💥

  • 8+ years of relevant experience. Including 3+ years of hands-on experience in Product Analytics and 2+ years of people management.
  • Ability to collaborate and drive initiatives across Analytics, Data, Product, Engineering, and UX.
  • Excellent people management skills, including individual coaching and growth planning.
  • Deep understanding of product metrics, their interdependencies, and principles of Product development.
  • Expertise in SQL, working with large datasets. Hands-on experience with Python and/or R. Experience with Git is a plus.
  • Experience employing statistical and causal inference techniques, including A/B testing, to drive real world impact.
  • Solid understanding of Analytics technology, including event tracking and data collection, Data warehousing and transformations, and visualization and reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, allow you to convey complex findings in a clear and concise manner.
  • Experience working in SaaS and/or high growth companies is a plus.
