Product Engineer

Your Role

In your daily job you will:

• Design plastic and components (2D and 3D) for connectors in vehicle
• Make validation plan and follow up validation progress
• Present APTIV design proposals to customer and get customer approval
• Follow customer vehicle build events and solve related issues
• Setup/Maintain/Update design database
• Lead cross function team to implement Engineering changes
• Assure adherence to all work procedures
• Strive for lean organization and continuous improvement

Your Background

Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related
• More than 3 years of design work experience in relative area
• Deep knowledge of injection molding and metal stamping
• Proficient in English (oral and written)
• Well trained CAD capability or CATIA/UG/Pro E
• Good communication skills

Nice to haves (preferred qualifications)

Good OEM customer relationship

Basic knowledge in IATF16949
