Quality Control Engineer Nuevo Laredo

This role ensures compliance with plant quality metrics and customer requirements, implements and monitors the quality system, and participates in PFMEA and Control Plan development. Responsibilities include conducting and monitoring layered audits, verifying product conformity through tests and audits, managing non-conforming product labels, analyzing and solving waste generation, participating in production line and equipment release, and addressing customer non-conformities. The engineer also develops and trains personnel.

Must Have

• Ensure compliance with plant quality metrics and customer requirements.
• Ensure correct implementation and monitoring of the quality system.
• Participate in the elaboration of PFMEAs and Control Plans.
• Perform and monitor layered audits in their area.
• Guarantee the performance of necessary tests and audits to verify product conformity.
• Monitor red tags for non-conforming products and ensure their correct disposition.
• Participate in the analysis and solution of waste generation in the productive area.
• Participate in the process of releasing production lines and equipment.
• Participate in the analysis and solution of non-conformities reported by clients.
• Develop and train personnel under their charge.

Competencies:

• 80% English
• Professional in administrative/engineering areas
• Basic MS Office
• Experience in Quality Control, Engineering or Manufacturing (minimum 2 years)
• Experience in implementation and monitoring of quality systems (ISO/TS 16949)
• Experience in Minitab
