Job Description

As a Product Manager Assistant (Player Safety) at Ubisoft, you will join the Player Safety department to help reduce harm, fraud, and disruptive behaviors in games, fostering positive player interactions. Your role involves assisting the Project Manager by identifying product improvements through benchmarks, deploying family-friendly ecosystem measures, prioritizing Player Safety gaps in game productions, and tracking the implementation of safety tools and services across Ubisoft games. You will collaborate with various game and support teams.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Online Services teams of Ubisoft support games by building & managing online solutions that connect them with the players.

As a Product Manager Assistant (Player Safety), you will join the Player Safety department, whose mission is to reduce the risk that players will be exposed to harm, fraud, or other disruptive behaviors that are outside community guidelines, there by shaping player behavior and encouraging positive play.

Your role will be to assist the Project Manager on a variety of projects that aim at strengthening Player Safety. In this context, you will interact with stakeholders from game and support teams to:

  • Discover – help Product managers identify improvement to existing products, by performing internal and external benchmarks;
  • Help deploy a family-friendly ecosystem for our young players (protective measures, parental control);
  • Help to identify and prioritize key Player Safety gaps in ongoing game productions;
  • Track the implementation of Player Safety tool and services in Ubisoft games.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • You are currently pursuing higher education with a specialization in Project Management, Product Management or Video Games, or a related field;
  • You have the will to learn, excessively curious. You know how to fail and learn from failure;
  • You are a gamer. Playing online games with high social interactions will definitely help you understand the stakes and challenges but it is not required;
  • You are proficient in PowerPoint and have basic knowledge of Excel;
  • You have an interest in project management and are familiar with the tools used to support it (Jira, Confluence, Miro, Trello, SharePoint);
  • You are versatile and you don’t refrain from experiencing new ways of working;
  • You are fluent in French and English (both languages are heavily used).

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Recruitment process

If your application is chosen, you will be contacted by a member of the Campus Team to schedule a phone exchange in order to determine if the job description matches your profile, but also what you are looking for.

If that exchange is successful, an interview will be organized (on site or through Teams) with your future manager.

Finally, you will have an interview with the Safety Player Director and your future manager.

What can I expect during an internship or apprenticeship at Ubisoft?

From your very first days, you will attend a Welcome Session introducing you to Ubisoft, its organisation and your working environment for the coming months. Your manager and your team will support you on a daily basis, both during your first few weeks and throughout your entire experience!

Once you are autonomous, your tasks will be varied and give you a sense of responsibility, regardless of the type of contract. Working at Ubisoft means working on real projects on a day-to-day basis.

A dedicated Teams group will also allow you to interact with other interns and apprentices.

What is Ubisoft’s remote work policy?

We embrace a hybrid work model helping you stay connected with your team and aligned with business priorities, while giving you the opportunity to maintain your work-life balance. Note that some roles are fully office-based and are not eligible for hybrid work.

Under our hybrid working model, you will work three days a week at our offices and will be able to work from home up to two days a week.
