Job Description

As a Product Manager for American football products at Tracab (part of EA Sports), you will define the product roadmap and collaborate across diverse functions to deliver innovative motion tracking solutions. You will work with product leadership, engineers, data scientists, designers, clients, and end users to ensure the product exceeds customer expectations and aligns with EA Sports’ vision, focusing on strategy, execution, and continuous improvement through data and user feedback.

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
  • Swedish language skills.
Must Have:
  • Partner with product leadership to translate high-level strategy into clear objectives and actionable roadmaps for the American football product.
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, analytics, design, and research teams to deliver new features and product improvements.
  • Gather, analyze, and synthesize feedback from clients, end users, and the market to inform priorities and product direction.
  • Leverage data insights and user research to drive continuous iteration, optimizing for player experience, accuracy, and value.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve product performance and adoption.
  • Collaborate with analytics to design and execute experiments; use findings to refine product features and business opportunities.
  • Prepare and present project updates and product presentations to stakeholders.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and emerging technologies, especially in American football and sports analytics.
  • Support operational readiness, customer onboarding, and best practice sharing within the product line.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in product management, ideally within technology, sports technology, or data analytics products.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Skilled collaborator, able to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, confident presenting to stakeholders.
  • Passion for sports—especially American football—and for technology-driven product development.

Role Overview

As the Product Manager for our American football product, you will bridge strategy with execution—helping to define the roadmap, collaborate across diverse functions, and deliver innovative motion tracking solutions for live American football. You’ll work with product leadership, engineers, data scientists, designers, clients, and end users to ensure the product exceeds customer expectations and aligns with EA Sports’ vision.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with product leadership to translate high-level strategy into clear objectives and actionable roadmaps for the American football product.
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, analytics, design, and research teams to deliver new features and product improvements from ideation through release.
  • Gather, analyze, and synthesize feedback from clients (leagues, coaches), end users, and the market to inform priorities and product direction.
  • Leverage data insights and user research to drive continuous iteration, always optimizing for player experience, accuracy, and value.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), using metrics to improve product performance and adoption.
  • Collaborate with analytics to design and execute experiments; use findings to refine product features and business opportunities.
  • Prepare and present project updates and product presentations to stakeholders.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and emerging technologies, especially in American football and sports analytics.

Qualifications:

  • +5 years of demonstrated experience in product management, ideally within technology, sports technology, or data analytics products.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, confident presenting to stakeholders.
  • Passion for sports—especially American football—and for technology-driven product development.

  • Fluent English is required; Swedish language skills are advantageous but not mandatory.
