What You’ll be Building

As a Product Manager at Yellow, you will be the driving force behind the vision, strategy, and execution of our innovative product lines. You are not just passionate about product management; you see it as a craft. You are obsessed with discovering the true needs of users and overcoming the obstacles that stand in the way, such as assumptions and preconceived notions about what users want. You continuously iterate, test, and validate to uncover the truth.

You will represent the interests of users and customers, prioritize their needs, and translate these into actionable features and product requirements. You are highly detail-oriented and take pride in the high quality of your work. You will use and continuously improve every product or feature you work on, incorporating insights from users, the market, and other stakeholders to inform your recommendations.

In this role, you will work with top experts in the field, from scientists to industry specialists, and report directly to the CEO, who brings a wealth of experience as a former product leader at Google. Your work will create precedence in the responsible creation and use of creative AI tools, enabling everyone to imagine, generate, and share magical worlds, stories, and characters.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Vision and Strategy:

    • Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with company goals.

    • Create and maintain a product roadmap, outlining development timelines and key milestones.

  • Market Research and Analysis:

    • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.

    • Gather and analyze user feedback to inform product development decisions.

  • Feature Definition and Prioritization:

    • Define and prioritize product features based on customer impact and business value.

    • Create detailed user stories and requirements for the development team.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration:

    • Work with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support teams to ensure successful product development and launch.

    • Act as a liaison between different departments to align on product goals and strategies.

  • Product Lifecycle Management:

    • Manage the product lifecycle from concept to launch and post-launch optimization.

    • Continuously iterate and improve the product based on user feedback and data analysis.

  • Product Launch and Marketing:

    • Oversee product launch activities, including developing promotional strategies and coordinating with the marketing team.

    • Ensure all teams are aligned and prepared for the product release.

  • Technical Understanding:

    • Collaborate with engineering teams to define technical requirements and ensure feasibility.

    • Maintain a solid understanding of relevant technologies, especially in AI and related fields

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years as a product manager, with at least 2 years in AI products.

  • Experience leading the shipping of at least two full-cycle AI-based products.

  • Ability to set vision and roadmap for products and features, writing detailed PRDs.

  • Extremely high attention to detail and high standards for work quality.

  • Bachelor's degree minimum, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred:

  • Master's degree.

  • Experience in computer vision, 3D, games, entertainment, or special effects.

  • Passion for any art or creative form.
