What You’ll be Building

As a Sales Manager at Yellow, you will lead and own the selling and revenue generation of Yellow’s products. You are a results-driven individual who loves to win and consistently surpass ambitious goals. You see selling as a craft honed through experience and evidence-based practices. You build a deep understanding of the product and its capabilities through firsthand use and extensive customer interaction. You are attuned to market trends and societal narratives, ensuring your sales pitches are fresh, effective, and relevant. You thrive on bringing new scientific breakthroughs and advanced technology products to market, integrating them seamlessly into customers' ecosystems and businesses. You embrace risk-taking and bold thinking, questioning traditional sales methods and exploring new possibilities. You thrive on focusing on creating sales strategies that communicate the value and function of advanced technology products clearly and effectively.

In this role, you will bring the most cutting-edge AI enterprise products to the market, creating thriving and profitable business ventures within Yellow. You will work directly with the CEO and collaborate with industry experts to achieve outstanding sales results. Your work will be instrumental in driving the success of Yellow’s advanced technology products, ensuring they meet the needs of customers and contribute to the company's growth.

We’d love to see the results from your prior work, specifying the B2B sales amounts and durations you led firsthand. References will be run for all candidates to verify past performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales Leadership:

    • Lead and own the sales strategy and revenue generation for Yellow’s products.

    • Set ambitious sales goals and consistently surpass them.

  • Customer Understanding:

    • Spend significant time with customers to understand their needs, pain points, and language.

    • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and customer preferences.

  • Sales Pitch and Strategy:

    • Develop and deliver compelling sales pitches that resonate with current market trends and future product innovations.

    • Handhold customers through the transition from familiar technologies to new, advanced products.

  • Sales Lifecycle Management:

    • Manage all aspects of the sales lifecycle, from pitching and agreements to delivery and customer satisfaction.

    • Ensure high-quality product delivery that leads to very satisfied customers.

  • Collaboration and Communication:

    • Work closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to align sales efforts with product development and company goals.

    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure cohesive strategy execution.

  • Results Tracking and Reporting:

    • Track and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

    • Provide evidence of successful sales cycles, including B2B sales amounts and durations.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a sales manager, with at least 2 years working with B2B AI products.

  • Proven experience leading the sales of at least two full product cycles from scratch.

  • Expertise in all aspects of the sales lifecycle, including setting milestones and roadmaps.

  • Thrives in delivering outstanding results and exceeding sales targets.

Preferred:

  • Experience in the gaming, entertainment, special effects, or animation industry.

  • Passionate about innovative technologies and their applications.
