The YouVersion Product Marketing Strategist plans and executes effective communication strategies for YouVersion initiatives, utilizing channels such as emails, blogs, push notifications, in-app messaging, and social media. This role specifically supports Bible App Lite and next-generation apps like Bible App for Kids. The strategist will lead marketing executions through strategic planning, develop engaging campaigns, leverage YouVersion channels to drive action, and understand app engagement trends and consumer insights. Key responsibilities include managing brand position, collaborating with internal teams, analyzing data to inform strategy, crafting communication strategies with accuracy and excellence, presenting ideas effectively, and staying updated on industry trends and technology.

Job Description
What You’ll Do
- Lead marketing executions through strategic planning and collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Develop strategic campaigns that support YouVersion’s efforts.
- Leverage YouVersion channels such as email, app push notifications, in-app messages, banners, Bible.com, and social media to move individuals to action.
- Develop strategic communication campaigns that lead to app engagement.
- Develop go-to-market strategies for test apps or market expansion.
- Understand app engagement trends and consumer insights that inform future campaign executions.
- Steward the brand position of assigned product(s) and maintain a pulse on the competitive landscape.
- Collaborate with internal teams and use external insights to better understand the YouVersion Community.
- Review data to inform strategy related to audience segmentation and communication strategies.
- Craft strategies for YouVersion communication channels with accuracy and excellence, specifically in timing, segmentation, creativity, and content.
- Effectively present ideas with vision and direction.
- Collaborate with Product, Content, Data, Partnerships, Creative, and Brand Voice teams to develop strategies in alignment with overall objectives.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and consistently evaluate how YouVersion can leverage existing and emerging technology and platforms to advance engagement.
- Develop actionable insights based on data and communicate this information through verbal, written, and visual channels.
- Collaborate with copywriters, graphic designers, product managers, videographers, and stakeholders on how to best implement learnings from previous efforts to inform upcoming strategies.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the organization’s communication stack to maximize features and capabilities.
- Lead and coach team members as assigned.
