Job Description

The Product Training Specialist will support, configure, and train casino operators on AGS' products, including hardware, software, and intellectual property. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining table game training programs, manuals, and procedures, training dealers to ensure competence in skills and current game changes, and providing support and training to casino operators. The role involves participating in the development of support materials, conducting technical training courses, and providing consultation at customer sites during and after installations/upgrades. The specialist will work with installation teams, provide initial set-up support for go-live periods, schedule training programs, and offer post-installation customer training support. Additionally, the role requires developing positive relationships with casino personnel, participating in operational audits and process analyses, and performing other assigned duties.
Must have:
  • Develops table game training programs, manuals, and procedures.
  • Trains/re-trains table game dealers.
  • Provides support and training to casino operators.
  • Conducts technical training courses.
  • Provides consultation at customer sites.
  • Works with installation teams.
  • Provides initial set-up support at customer sites.
  • Schedules preferred training programs.
  • Provides post-installation customer training support.
  • Develops positive relationships with casino personnel.
  • Participates in operational audits.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Requires up to 90% travel.
  • Ability to obtain required licensing documents.
Good to have:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Two years casino experience preferred.
  • Six months or more dealing experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in training or education preferred.
  • Training principles and delivery knowledge.
  • On- and off-site training logistics knowledge.

Job Overview
The Product Training Specialist will provide support, configuration, and training to casino operators on AGS’ products; which includes, but is not limited to hardware, software or Intellectual Property. 
 
Responsibilities 
  • Exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance. 
  • Develops, implements and maintains all table game training programs, manuals, and procedures, to include those currently existing, as well as any new games introduced
  • Trains/re-trains all table game dealers to ensure they are competent in all skills required to deal and to remain current with changes in the various table games
  • Provides support and training to casino operators on AGS’ products
  • Participates in the development of support materials and courses
  • Conducts technical training courses and provides consultation at customer sites during and after installations/upgrades
  • Works with installation teams to understand customer operations and systems modules to be installed on site
  • Provides ongoing, initial set-up support at customer sites for go-live period; schedules preferred training programs with casino personnel
  • Provides post-installation customer training support
  • Develops positive, working relationships with high level casino personnel
  • Participates in operational audits and process analyses
  • Other duties as assigned by management
Skills and Requirements 
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; or equivalent work experience
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Position will require up to 90% travel.
  • Two (2) years casino experience is preferred
  • Six months or more dealing experience is preferred
  • Previous experience in training or education preferred
  • Ability to obtain required licensing documents and approvals for domestic travel
  • Training principles and delivery
  • On- and off-site training logistics
