Job Description

The Production Associate will produce and finish a wide variety of commercially printed products according to detailed order specifications, maintaining high quality standards. This role involves completing tasks as specified in daily production orders and performing multiple bindery and print operation functions. It is a 100% onsite position in St. Cloud, MN, requiring the ability to stand for 8-10 hours per shift.
Must have:
  • Perform bindery and print operations.
  • Complete scheduled production and finishing duties.
  • Conduct pre-production setup and equipment modifications.
  • Perform routine quality checks and troubleshoot equipment.
  • Pack and prepare finished products for delivery.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Perform regular equipment maintenance.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and security guidelines.

Job Summary (Basic Responsibilities):

Produce / finish a wide variety of commercially printed products in accordance with detailed order specifications. Complete tasks as specified in a daily production order while maintaining high quality standards. Perform multiple bindery and print operation functions.

Work Arrangement:

100% Onsite - Office Sauk View Dr | Stand for 8–10 hours per shift (Potential Shift Window 7a-3pm)

Required Job Qualifications (Min. 2yr experience)

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

  • 2+ years in Bindery and Print Operations preferred
  • Forklift certification preferred (or ability to obtain)

Abilities / Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform multiple bindery and print operation functions, including but not limited to:

  • Booklet Making
  • Cutting, Folding & Laminating
  • Collating, Gluing & Spiral Binding
  • Secure Digital Printing
  • Insertion & Mailing Services
  • Packaging of orders for customer fulfillment & distribution

Bindery & Production

  • Complete scheduled production & finishing duties
  • Pre-production set-up & equipment modifications
  • Reference product samples / customer approved proofs
  • Provide written production documentation / notes
  • Routine quality checks
  • Troubleshoot equipment operation
  • Maintain timelines & communicate discrepancies
  • Track activities in MII
  • Facilitate process improvements
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

Packaging

  • Pack and prepare finished products for delivery
  • Confirm job-specific packaging instructions
  • Document excess billable product

Print & Bindery Environment

  • Maintain clean / safe work environment
  • Dispose of waste
  • Assist warehouse inventory management

  • Maintain equipment per schedule
  • Engage vendor support proactively
  • Communicate outages/issues with management
  • Document maintenance activities
