Job Description

DNEG Animation, a world-class studio creating high-end animated feature films and episodic content, is seeking Production Coordinators. The role supports the production and supervision teams to ensure the accurate and efficient flow of information. Responsibilities include managing schedules, coordinating meetings, maintaining databases with shot statuses, coordinating dailies, and ensuring the smooth flow of materials. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative and production task execution skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, proactive workload management, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn new software. Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, databases (preferably Shotgun), and FTP software is required. Knowledge of ShotGrid, animation terminology, HTML/Wiki, and Filemaker are considered assets. This is a unionized position.
Must have:

Les coordonnateurs de production de DNEG contribuent au bon déroulement des efforts de visualisation pour les longs métrages d'animation en soutenant l'équipe de production et de supervision, en assurant un flux d'informations précis et efficace.
Vous serez responsable des artistes en vous assurant qu'ils comprennent leur programme de travail, en relayant l'information à l'équipe de production et de supervision, en coordonnant le flux d'informations et d'éléments entre les artistes et les départements. Vous devez être efficace dans la gestion des bases de données avec l'état actuel des éléments et des prises de vue, dans la coordination des rushes et la prise de notes détaillées, et dans l'assurance du flux de matériel en provenance et à destination du client.
Responsabilités principales:
  • Exécuter des tâches administratives et de production : Gérer les calendriers, planifier les réunions, préparer les documents et soutenir les flux de production de manière efficace et précise.
  • Établir et maintenir des relations solides : Collaborer efficacement avec les membres de l'équipe, les pairs et les parties prenantes externes afin de favoriser un environnement de travail positif.
  • Gérer de manière proactive la charge de travail et les priorités : Hiérarchiser efficacement les tâches, respecter les délais et s'adapter aux changements de priorités.
  • Faire preuve d'excellentes compétences en matière de communication et de relations interpersonnelles : Communiquer clairement à l'oral et à l'écrit, écouter activement et établir des relations avec les autres.
  • Contribuer au succès de l'équipe : Soutenir les initiatives de l'équipe, offrir de l'aide aux collègues et maintenir une attitude positive et collaborative.
  • Démontrer des capacités de résolution de problèmes et de prise de décision : Analyser les problèmes, proposer des solutions et prendre des décisions en connaissance de cause.
  • Développer et maintenir ses connaissances en matière de production : Comprendre le processus de production, utiliser les outils et les systèmes pertinents et développer en permanence ses connaissances du secteur.

 

Exigences:
  • Expérience de Microsoft Office, en particulier d'Excel et de Google Suite
  • Expérience de travail avec des bases de données
  • Connaissance du logiciel FTP
  • Aptitude à apprendre de nouveaux logiciels
  • Expérience de travail avec des bases de données, de préférence Shotgun
  • Diplôme ou formation équivalente
  • Aptitude à apprendre de nouveaux logiciels

Production Coordinators at DNEG aid the smooth running of Visualization efforts for Animated feature film through supporting the production and supervision team, ensuring the accurate and efficient flow of information.
You will be responsible for the artists in ensuring that they understand their schedule of work, relaying information back to the production and supervision team, coordinating the flow of information and elements between artists and departments. This role needs you to be efficient in maintaining databases with current element and shot statuses, in coordinating dailies and taking detailed notes, and ensuring the flow of materials to and from the client.

  • Develop and maintain production knowledge: Understand the production pipeline, utilize relevant tools and systems, and continuously expand industry knowledge.
Job Requirements
