The Production Lead supports Senior Lead/Packaging Management, ensuring performance aligns with quality, customer satisfaction, schedule, growth, and profitability objectives. Key responsibilities include identifying and assigning training, supervising work groups, completing daily paperwork, ensuring product quality, tracking production metrics, conducting audits and performance reviews, and communicating feedback. The role also involves setting goals, enforcing safety rules, establishing production rotation patterns, and managing 5S and LEAN concepts.
Must have:
  • Responsible for identifying training needs of direct reports and assigning training.

  • Complete daily paperwork.
  • Ensure that finished product meets customer specifications and expectations.
  • Responsible for timely and cost-effective production of high-quality finished product.
  • Keep track of production, waste, and downtime.
  • Conduct daily line audits.
  • Conduct performance reviews.
  • Provide feedback to the Sr. Production Lead regarding employee’s performance, waste, and quality issues and other important items.
  • Communicate with employees about their overall job performance.
  • Participate in setting goals for packaging lines.
  • Communicate and enforce safety and departmental rules.
  • Establish a rotation pattern with employees to enhance production.
  • Proactively manage 5S and LEAN concept.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

Qualifications

Education

Must have a high school diploma or equivalency.
