The Security Administration Program Coordinator role reports to the Senior Director, Corporate IT (CIT) Business Operations team, providing cross-functional support to supporting Visa’s Chief Information Officer (CIO) and the CIT leadership team. The team is responsible for governance and adherence to Visa corporate cyber security requirements and running point on all internal/external audit and compliance requests, with oversight for all CIT-owned applications. The position requires a program management professional with the ability to seamlessly flex between the strategic and the tactical. This role requires attention to detail and analytical rigor, as well as the ability to synthesize and streamline information for executive reporting. The team is focused on improving efficiency, consistency and collaboration within the CIT organization and other key cross-functional stakeholders across technology and compliance/audit. Must have high level of energy and flexibility to get things done and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented, and often time ambiguous environment. This position interacts with a wide range of stakeholders both within CIT and with cross-functional teams, including Cyber Security, Risk, Compliance, Audit, as well as senior leadership.
Essential Functions
Assist with critical security administration functions to protect Visa from vulnerabilities, including data analysis and research across systems, tracking and reporting activities, and unblocking technical team members if they are challenged remediating vulnerabilities. Partner closely with technology delivery partners and Cybersecurity, in collaboration with CIT senior leadership, to support the overall Visa and CIT organizational goals and needs.
Build processes that meet CITs business objectives and ensure compliance and completeness.
As a change agent, discover opportunities for process improvements, pilot and then drive on a larger scale.
Assist with executive reporting and operational technology metrics focusing on continuous improvement to maximize decision making and executive visibility.
Program management and delivery of special CIO projects, as identified, to support security administration functions and processes.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Basic Qualifications
• 2 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
• Experience in managing technically complex, cross-organizational, multi-stakeholder initiatives
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with an attention to detail. In particular, a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical and business issues and solutions to multiple organizational levels, capable of summarizing and communicating key financial information and business strategy at an executive level
• Good judgment, strong common sense, and excellent attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
• 3 or more years of work experience or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
• Certifications in Cybersecurity or related, meaningful experience in Cybersecurity or vulnerability management, meaningful experience in compliance, risk, or audit roles
• Effective leadership qualities: ability to influence effectively without direct management authority, experience managing conflict to achieve project goals, transparency with management and stakeholders
• Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative professional business relationships with all levels of management, employees and outside companies
• Strong organization skills, ability to multi-task, show initiative and work aggressively to meet deadlines
• Proactive and solution-oriented, solid analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to think strategically
