As a Program Manager II at Google Ads, you'll lead complex software development projects, working across engineering, product, and user design teams. Responsibilities include feature planning and prioritization, establishing necessary programs and projects, defining success metrics (OKRs), managing resources and risks, and collaborating with other Ads teams. You'll ensure successful product area execution, requiring strong project management skills and experience with software development lifecycles (SDLC), advertising platforms, and potentially LLMs/Generative AI. The role demands effective communication and cross-functional collaboration.
Must have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years program/project management experience

Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines. Users come first at Google. Advertisers worldwide use Google Ads to promote their products; publishers use AdSense to serve relevant ads on their website; and business around the world use our products (like Google Shopping, and Google Wallet) to support their online businesses and bring users into their offline stores. We are constantly innovating to deliver the most effective advertising and commerce opportunities of tomorrow.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $126,000-$181,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute feature planning, prioritization and operations in product areas for engineering, product, and user design teams.
- Establish the necessary programs and one-off projects for the team to plan and execute in order for the product area to be successful.
- Design success metrics and measure progress of annual OKRs.
- Manage day-to-day resource requirements, risks, and priorities.
- Interface with other product and engineering teams within Ads to develop execution plans.
