Job Summary

The Fallout: Miami Programming Department is seeking individuals to work within the Creation Kit, focusing on systems within the Creation Engine rather than traditional coding. Tasks involve implementing quests, developing gameplay systems, NPC AI scheduling, and editing records. The role requires extensive experience with Bethesda's Creation Kit and Papyrus scripting, familiarity with quest implementation, and ownership of Fallout 4 and its DLC on PC. Strong communication and remote teamwork skills are essential, along with self-organization and proactive timeline communication. Additional desirable skills include knowledge of interface communication between Papyrus and AS3, or writing custom Script Extender plugins. Applicants must have prior experience with the Creation Kit and Papyrus.

Must Have

  • Extensive experience with Creation Kit and Papyrus scripting
  • Familiarity with designing and implementing quests
  • Ownership of Fallout 4 and all its official DLC on PC
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience with remote team incorporation
  • Self-organized and proactive communication

Good to Have

  • Knowledge on interface communication between Papyrus and AS3
  • Writing custom Script Extender plugins
  • Ability to create a navmesh
  • Correctly set up activators and effects

The Fallout: Miami Programming Department is a catch-all department for work inside the Creation Kit. Most of the work we do is not traditional coding tasks, but rather work with the various Creation Engine systems. Work inside the Creation Kit involves tasks such as implementing quests, developing gameplay systems, NPC AI scheduling, and editing records.
