Iron Mountain is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our Data Center Design and Construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for streamlining project administration, managing critical documentation, and ensuring seamless communication across all phases of new data center and infrastructure upgrade projects.
What You'll Do (Core Responsibilities)
In this role, you will:
- Coordinate project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure data center design and construction projects are completed on time and within financial constraints
- Develop and manage comprehensive project documentation, including scope statements, project plans, purchase orders, and inventory reports, maintaining a clear audit trail for all deliverables
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and communication between Project Managers, engineers, vendors, and construction teams by scheduling meetings, documenting key decisions, and tracking follow-up actions
- Support the management of project risks and issues by assisting with risk assessments, developing mitigation strategies, and escalating critical concerns to the Project Manager
What You'll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)
The ideal candidate will have:
- 3+ years of experience in project coordination, preferably within a construction, engineering, or IT infrastructure environment
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Gantt charts, risk registers, scheduling software)
- Proven ability in organizational and time management skills, with meticulous attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- PMP, CDCPM, or equivalent project management certification is a plus, but not required
