Job Description

Social Discovery Group (SDG), a leading social discovery company with 60+ brands and 500 million users, is seeking a Project Manager for its Kiseki product. The role involves comprehensive backlog management, overseeing the KISEKI tech team's workload, and maintaining organizational documentation. Key responsibilities include defining project scope, managing complex projects, handling change management, and optimizing resource allocation. The ideal candidate will guide teams in time management, develop reporting systems, and lead quality assurance, ensuring continuous improvement. Must have:
  • Manage backlog, status, timing, resources, critical points, and timely escalation.
  • Manage KISEKI tech team workload, considering internal development requests.
  • Maintain documentation, record business agreements, and track team resource allocation.
  • Define project scope, goals, and timelines.
  • Handle complex, multi-phase projects.
  • Manage scope definition and change.
  • Effectively handle scope creep and project constraints.
  • Manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Guide teams in effective time management.
  • Plan and manage resources.
  • Optimize resource usage and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Develop automated reporting systems and dashboards.
  • Coach and mentor teams on Agile principles.
  • Lead quality assurance strategy.
  • Ensure continuous improvement in quality standards.

Job Details

Your main tasks will be:

  • Backlog management: all areas, status awareness, timing, resources, critical points, timely escalation.
  • Managing the workload of the KISEKI tech team: taking into account the internal requests from the development team (maintenance).
  • Organizational aspect: maintaining documentation and records of agreements with the business, tracking the resource allocation of all team members (vacations, etc.).

  • Effectively handles scope creep and manages project constraints
  • Expert in managing competing priorities and deadlines
  • Guides teams in effective time management practices
  • Expert in resource planning and management
  • Optimizes resource usage and manages cross-functional team collaboration
  • Develops automated reporting systems and dashboards for multiple projects
  • Coaches and mentors teams on Agile principles across the organization
  • Leads quality assurance strategy
  • Ensures continuous improvement in quality standards across all projects

In the other locations, the company provides reimbursement of workplace costs up to $ 1000 gross once every 3 years according to the paychecks. This money can be spent on the rent of the co-working room, on equipping the working place at home (desk, chair, Internet, etc.) during those 3 years;
  • Internal gamified gratitude system: receive bonuses from colleagues and exchange them for time off, merch, team building activities, massage certificates, etc.
