Job Description

We are seeking Project Managers for operational control of exciting projects throughout the vehicle development process, starting January 1, 2026. This role involves regular onsite customer contact and direct exchange with our IDIADA teams. Responsibilities include planning, steering, and monitoring automotive development projects, ensuring deadlines, costs, and quality, and coordinating internal and external teams. The company is an established partner in the automotive industry for over three decades, focusing on innovation and excellence in engineering, testing, and homologation.
Must have:
  • Plan, steer, and monitor automotive development projects
  • Responsible for deadlines, costs, and quality
  • Coordinate internal and external teams and interfaces
  • Plan, steer, moderate, and conduct project meetings
  • Prepare and conduct presentations for clients onsite
  • Create and evaluate documentation scopes
  • Ensure data entry into customer systems
  • Deployment in task force topics
  • Ensure smooth information flow and active stakeholder management
  • Completed technical degree (e.g., automotive, mechanical, electrical engineering) or technician degree
  • Several years of project management experience, preferably in automotive development
  • Knowledge of SAP, Salesforce, common PM methods and tools
  • Structured, solution-oriented work style with strong communication skills
  • Willingness to travel for regular onsite appointments
  • Very good German and English language skills
Good to have:
  • Professional experience with an OEM or Tier-1 supplier

Job Description

Starting January 1, 2026, we are looking for several Project Managers (m/f/d) for the operational control of exciting projects along the entire vehicle development process – with regular onsite customer contact and direct exchange with our IDIADA teams.

Your tasks:

  • Planning, steering, and monitoring of automotive development projects
  • Responsibility for deadlines, costs, and quality
  • Coordination of teams and interfaces (internal and external)
  • Planning, steering, moderation, and execution of project meetings including minutes and filing in customer systems
  • Preparation and execution of presentations at the customer's site
  • Creation and evaluation of documentation scopes
  • Ensuring the data entry into customer systems
  • Deployment in task force topics
  • Ensuring a smooth flow of information and active stakeholder management

Qualifications

  • Completed technical degree (e.g., automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering) or technician degree
  • Several years of experience in project management, preferably in automotive development
  • Professional experience with an OEM or Tier-1 supplier is an advantage
  • Knowledge of SAP, Salesforce, and common PM methods and tools
  • Structured and solution-oriented way of working, coupled with strong communication skills
  • Willingness to travel for regular onsite appointments and enjoyment of direct customer contact
  • Very good German and English language skills, written and spoken
