Publicis Media, the world's second-largest media agency network, is seeking a Group Head for Search Engine Marketing (SEA) in Düsseldorf, Germany. This hybrid role involves independently advising and developing clients in SEA, creating and presenting channel strategies, and managing paid search media budgets, primarily Google AdWords. The successful candidate will lead a team of SEA experts, overseeing work processes, training, and development, while staying updated on industry trends and participating in new business projects.
Must have:
  • Independently advise, lead, and develop clients in Search Engine Marketing (SEA).
  • Develop and present channel strategies and manage paid search media budgets, with a focus on Google AdWords.
  • Lead a team of SEA experts, responsible for management, coordination, and controlling of all work processes.
  • Responsible for training, development, and motivation of employees.
  • Keep yourself and your team updated on trends and innovation topics and further develop clients.
  • Act as the interface to all internal and external agency partners and participate in new business projects.
  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience in Search Engine Advertising (SEA) or Performance Marketing.
  • Initial experience in leading employees and an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Good technical understanding of online tools.
  • Very good knowledge of analytical and bid-management tools.
  • Proficient in English and MS-Office.

Responsibilities

Your tasks

  • You independently advise, lead, and develop your clients in the field of Search Engine Marketing / Search Engine Advertising (SEA).
  • You develop and present channel strategies and are also responsible for the implementation and management of paid search media budgets, with a focus on Google AdWords.
  • You lead a team of SEA experts and are responsible for the management, coordination, and controlling of all work processes.
  • Furthermore, you are responsible for the training, further development, and motivation of your employees.
  • You keep yourself and your team constantly updated on trends and innovation topics and further develop your clients.
  • Finally, you act as the interface to all internal and external agency partners and participate in new business projects.

Qualifications

We are looking for

  • Min. 4 years of professional experience in Search Engine Advertising (SEA) or Performance Marketing (Search, Google AdWords, Google Shopping, GDN, YouTube, Retargeting, etc.).
  • Ideally, you have initial experience in leading employees and an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • You enjoy working with numbers and have a good technical understanding of online tools.
  • Very good knowledge of analytical and bid-management tools.
  • You are committed, communicative, and team-oriented, and possess a high degree of initiative, organizational skills, and dedication.
  • You enjoy personal and telephone contact with clients.
  • Your English skills are as good as your MS-Office skills.
  • You have the highest standards for the quality of your work, a high degree of service orientation, and keep your head and your humor even in hectic times.
