Job Summary
Responsible for the launch of mobile and PC games in China through partnerships with overseas developers, ensuring high-quality releases on schedule and accountability for the game's performance metrics. This role involves mastering and executing the end-to-end launch strategy across major Chinese distribution channels, setting revenue targets, and acting as the company's expert on technical, content, and operational requirements for key China channels. The producer will guide technical and content compliance, manage the submission process, mitigate risks, and bridge global and local teams.
Must Have
- Familiar with processes for mobile games on Apple and Android channels.
- Possess a data-driven product optimization mindset.
- Prior experience with successful game launches in China.
- Proven track record in China Game Publishing.
- Expert knowledge of Chinese App Channels.
- Deep knowledge of the Chinese mobile gaming market.
- Strong working knowledge of Chinese gaming regulatory landscape (ISBN, anti-addiction, content compliance).
- Professional verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin Chinese and English.
- At least 3 years of experience in a game producer, publishing manager, or project manager role.
- Ability to independently investigate issues, manage ambiguity, and drive projects forward with a solution-oriented approach.

- Established professional relationships with contacts at major Chinese publishing channels.
- Experience working with Western or international development teams to adapt and publish games for the Chinese market.

WHAT WE EXPECT
You will:
1. Own the China Launch Playbook: Mastermind and execute the end-to-end launch strategy for new mobile games, ensuring a successful and timely release across all major Chinese distribution channels.
2. Revenue and Data-Driven: Set and achieve revenue targets for products in the China market.
3. Act as the Channel Expert: Serve as the company's source of truth for the technical, content, and operational requirements of key China channels (e.g., Apple App Store China, Tencent, Huawei, OPPO,VIVO,Xiaomi, Bilibili, TapTap).
4. Guide Technical & Content Compliance: Translate complex channel regulations, SDK integration requirements, and content policies (including ISBN compliance) into clear, actionable tasks for development, art, and localization teams.
5. Drive the Submission Process: Manage the entire submission, review, and approval lifecycle for each game build. You will be the primary contact for troubleshooting rejections and communicating feedback between channels and the development team.
6. Mitigate Risk and Clear Roadblocks: Proactively identify project risks, dependencies, and regulatory changes that could impact launch timelines, and take ownership of finding and implementing solutions.
7. Bridge Global and Local Teams: Function as the key communication liaison between international development studios and China-based partners, ensuring seamless alignment and execution across different cultures and time zones.
You must have:
- A Proven Track Record in China Game Publishing: Demonstrable experience successfully launching and managing multiple mobile games on mainland Chinese app stores.
- Expert Knowledge of Chinese App Channels: Deep, hands-on familiarity with the submission processes, technical requirements, review guidelines, and back-end portals of major Chinese Android stores and the Apple App Store in China.
- Deep knowledge of the Chinese mobile gaming market, including player trends, monetization strategies, and competitor activities.
- Regulatory Navigation Skills: Strong working knowledge of the Chinese gaming regulatory landscape, including the ISBN (Game License Number) application process, anti-addiction system requirements, and content compliance standards.
- Bilingual Fluency: Professional verbal and written communication skills in both Mandarin Chinese and English are essential for this role.
- Game Production or Publishing Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a game producer, publishing manager, or project manager role within the mobile games industry.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: An ability to independently investigate issues, manage ambiguity, and drive projects forward with a solution-oriented approach.
