QA Automation Engineer

We are looking for an exceptional QA Automation Engineer to join our growing engineering organization. This role is part of the core team that develops cloud software to discover, organize, analyze and secure various cloud datastores. You will design and develop test automations for large scale infrastructures, establish coverage across features from the control plane, and expand scope to various cloud infrastructures (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.).

Must Have

• 2+ years of automated testing experience
• Expertise in public cloud compute and networking (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Good fundamentals in software design, development, and complexity analysis
• Proven experience with REST API-driven automation using Python or JavaScript
• Ability to design and build emulation tools for testing public cloud resources
• Understanding of GitHub and experience with CI/CD pipelines

Good to Have

• Experience with MochaJS or Pytest automation frameworks
• Prior experience in testing SaaS security products

The Role

We are looking for an exceptional QA Automation Engineer to join our growing engineering organization. This is part of the core team that develops cloud software to discover, organize, analyze and secure various cloud datastores. There is a great opportunity to deliver, learn, and grow as this team is rapidly growing and delivering many impactful features.

The role is a combination of quality assurance, software development and automation with a primary focus on developing automation for large scale infrastructures. You’ll design and develop test automations that run in regular cadence, and establish coverage across all of the features from the control plane. You’ll continue to expand the scope to a variety of cloud infrastructures (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.), and larger scale.

What you bring to the team

• 2+ years of automated testing
• Expertise in public cloud compute and networking, with hands-on experience in at least one of the following AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Good fundamentals in software design, development and complexity analysis
• Proven experience with REST API-driven automation using Python or JavaScript.
• Ability to design and build emulation tools for testing public cloud resources.
• Experience with at least one of the following automation frameworks is preferred MochaJS or Pytest
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
• Adaptability and a keen interest in staying current with new technologies and evolving industry trends.
• Understanding of GitHub and experience with CI/CD pipelines, including the setup and management of automated build, test, and deployment workflows
• Prior experience in testing SaaS security products is a plus
