QA Engineer - Senior

Overview:

SOFTSWISS is hiring a Senior QA Engineer to join our QA Department. 

You’ll work at Casino Platform, contributing to our continued growth and innovation.

Purpose of the Role:

To ensure the highest quality of our product by thoroughly testing new and existing features, identifying bugs, and collaborating closely with developers and other QA professionals.

Key responsibilities:

• Review functional requirements, technical design documents and provide meaningful feedback.
• Work closely with the development team to identify and execute test cases for new and/or existing functionality to ensure they are delivered with the highest quality..
• Identify, troubleshoot, and track bugs to resolution
• Follow defined engineering process during the development lifecycle
• Work proactively with the team to resolve issues and meet project goals
• Collaborate with Automation QA team to increase automation test coverage

Also, you will be able:

• Collaborate with Performance team
• Mentor other QA engineers on best practices and processes

Required Experience:

• 4+ years of commercial experience
• Comprehensive understanding of QA processes
• High-level analytical skills and critical thinking
• Experience working with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum
• Strong attention to detail while being able to multitask
• Prior to working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• API Testing: Proficient in testing APIs using tools like Postman, Insomnia, or equivalent, and comfortable working with RESTful API.
• Database and SQL: Strong understanding of database concepts and ability to write complex SQL.
• Experience working with message brokers.
• English level: Intermediate and higher.
• Russian level: Advanced.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Sentry, Kibana, or other logging/monitoring services.
• Prior experience working within cross-functional teams.
• Frontend testing: UI/UX, Insomnia, DevTools, cross-browser and cross-device testing.
