Wargaming is looking for а QA Engineer (Tech team) to work on World of Warships, PC product.
World of Warships is the best naval game around, letting you take command of legendary warships from the period of the 20th century as you battle your way across the open sea with other players.
The project is driven by a team of international developers who combine talent with their passion for video games, resulting in World of Warships being a favorite hobby for millions all around the globe with keeping its community ever-growing!
Tech team is responsible for the stable work of the game client and internal development tools, reacting to incidents, integrating the platforms with the game server, and supporting other feature teams with our expertise. The team follows best development practices and sets challenging goals, unafraid to experiment, while not forgetting about quality and user experience. All these activities need professional QA participation.
We are looking for a QA Engineer who understands game development processes, tools, and debugging. Working on the World of Warships project, you’ll be able to broaden your technical knowledge and skills, covering a broad area of expertise. If you wish to ensure a high level of product quality while closely collaborating with developers.

QA Team Lead
What will you do?
- Quality control of development tools, features and content of the game
- Create and maintain up-to-date test documentation
- Create and execute test cases, checklists, and test plans
- Create clear bug reports and help developers resolve issues
- Handle bugs from all stages of production
- Contribute to the process improvements
- Collaborate closely with developers as a QA owner
- Prepare team’s features for releases
What are we looking for?
- Several years of experience as QA Engineer
- Understanding of the software development cycle and the role of testing within it
- Knowledge of different testing methodologies
- Experience in developing test cases and test plans
- Ability to identify crashes, errors in logs and visual bugs
- Experience with project tracking tools (Jira)
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Experience with any test case management system (e.g. Testrail)
- Communication skills and a problem-solving mindset
- Ability to estimate QA workload
- Intermediate English level or higher
What additional skills will help you stand out?
- Experience in Game development field
- Experience in collaboration with automation teams
- Experience in Python or any scripting language
- Render knowledge
- Experience with Game development tools and engines
- Basic understanding of tools for development, debugging and CI/CD (e.g. Visual Studio Code, Jenkins)
Work mode
- Hybrid (2-3 days of work from the office, after probation period)
