Job Overview
Wargaming Data Warehouse is looking for a talented BI Developer to join our growing team. You will play a key role in designing and implementing data-driven solutions, leveraging cloud-based technologies like Snowflake and delivering valuable insights through Tableau.
Working in collaboration with various business units, you’ll be responsible for developing end-to-end business intelligence solutions that help drive data-informed decisions across global operations, from game development to financial reporting.
What will you do?
- Gather and analyze business and technical requirements, transforming them into actionable insights and visualizations.
- Design, develop, and deploy interactive Tableau dashboards to support decision-making.
- Integrate and develop data sources using SQL, collaborating with the Data Warehouse team.
- Manage Tableau Server, overseeing user groups, permissions, subscriptions, and setting up data-driven alerts for security and performance.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of Tableau dashboards and BI systems for scalability, efficiency, and accuracy.
- Provide documentation, training, and support to internal teams for effective use of Tableau and BI tools.
- Automate routine reporting and data extraction tasks, reducing manual work and improving efficiency.
What are we looking for?
- 3+ years of experience in BI roles (BI Developer or BI Analyst) or a similar position.
- Proficiency in SQL for data integration and analysis.
- Experience with Snowflake and cloud solutions (AWS, preferably).
- Strong Tableau skills (Desktop and Server) or comparable experience with another BI tool.
- AI awareness: familiarity with AI/ML features in BI (augmented analytics, NLQ, forecasting, anomaly detection) and their responsible use/governance
- Excellent at gathering and analyzing business requirements.
- Fluent in English and Russian, with strong communication abilities.
- Ability to manage deadlines, stakeholders, and work autonomously.
What additional skills will help you stand out?
- Experience with programming languages (Python, JavaScript).
- Hands-on experience with version control systems (GitLab).
- Familiarity with UX/UI principles and a keen eye for design.
- Understanding of game production processes and needs.
- Background in economics, statistics, computer science, math, or related fields.
Work mode
- Hybrid (2-3 days of work from the office).
- This role isn't eligible for relocation & immigration support.
