Who will you work with?
The Integration department is responsible for validating complex systems in a railway environment, ensuring that critical solutions are delivered safely, with quality, and within the timeframe agreed with customers.
The QA Specialist will play a central role in strengthening testing discipline, acting as a reference in methodologies, scenario creation, risk analysis, and guiding integrated testing and development teams.
How will you make a difference?
As a QA Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Defining, reviewing, and implementing test methodologies applied to embedded systems and railway solutions.
- Creating and guiding the elaboration of complex test plans and scenarios, ensuring broad coverage and alignment with project requirements and particular operational conditions of each client.
- Evaluating risks and proposing mitigation strategies through continuous quality validation.
- Acting as a technical reference for analyst teams (junior, mid, and senior), guiding good practices in QA.
- Ensuring requirements traceability and alignment with international testing norms and standards.
- Performing critical analyses of defects and failures, proposing solutions that strengthen product robustness.
- Supporting internal and external audits, consolidating the quality culture in the department.
- Promoting a holistic view of the testing solution, integrating technical, functional, and operational aspects of the railway environment.
What do we want to know about you?
- Education in Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Consolidated experience in Quality Assurance and software validation processes.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies (functional, non-functional, regression, integration, automation).
- Experience in creating test cases and scenarios for complex systems.
- Holistic view of testing solutions applied to the railway context.
- Proficiency in test and defect management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, IBM ELM, etc.).
- Clear and advanced communication in English (oral and written).
- Experience with test automation and integration in DevOps pipelines (desirable).
- QA and software testing certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CTFL, CTAL) are important differentials.
What will your day-to-day be like?
- Define and review QA strategies for each project running in the Integration laboratory.
- Coordinate the elaboration of detailed test scenarios, covering different levels of validation.
- Guide the execution of critical tests, ensuring consistency in results and efficiency in deliveries.
- Perform post-test analyses, identifying root causes of defects and guiding process improvements.
- Support global teams (Brazil, USA, and India) in applying QA methodologies and international standards.
- Consolidate test reports and quality metrics, supporting leadership in decision-making.
- Promote workshops and internal training, strengthening the quality culture in the team.
- Be a technical and methodological reference in testing critical railway systems.
