Job Summary
AVER is seeking a QA Test Engineer with 6-8+ years of experience to support agile methodology development testing for enterprise applications. This role involves the full systems development lifecycle, including writing test cases, plans, and scripts, performing integration testing, and production readiness reviews. The engineer will troubleshoot production problems, research new product integrations, and assist with UAT. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required, along with expertise in .Net/C# application testing tools and the ability to obtain a government clearance. The position is onsite in Washington, DC, and requires U.S. citizenship.
Must Have
- Support full systems development lifecycle
- Write test cases, test plans, and test scripts
- Perform integration testing to ensure requirements have been correctly developed
- Perform a production readiness review for acceptance and implementation
- Support websites, web-enabled data-entry systems, standalone and client-server applications, and collaborative computing products
- Perform formal system testing activities for a particular project or subset of a larger project
- Perform analysis of documented user requirements and design test plans
- Participate in all phases of risk management assessment and software/hardware development
- Ensure test design and documentation support all applicable clients, agency or industry standards timelines and budgets
- Ensure testing conclusions and recommendations are fully supported by test results

- Research and test integration of new products based on client requirements
- Address problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms
- Consult with project teams to identify application requirements
- Perform feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management
- Assist in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools
- Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) deliverables and artifacts
- Test across User Administrative functions, legacy data migration processes, queries and reports, and interface process to an existing system
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 6-8+ years of experience with Software Testing supporting .Net Development teams
- Knowledge of how to utilize test tools for .Net/ C# application and software development testing
- Ability to document test scenarios, cases, plans, and scripts
- Ability to write test cases and process workflows
- Liaise with client leadership
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance (Public Trust)
- U.S. citizenship

We are seeking a QA Test Engineer with in-depth knowledge and experience assisting with agile methodology development testing of enterprise applications. Responsibilities Include:
- Support full systems development lifecycle
- Write test cases, test plans, and test scripts
- Perform integration testing to ensure requirements have been correctly developed
- Perform a production readiness review for acceptance and implementation
- Support websites, web-enabled data-entry systems, standalone and client-server applications, and collaborative computing products
- Perform formal system testing activities for a particular project or subset of a larger project under supervision of more experienced test personnel
- Perform analysis of documented user requirements and directs or assists in the design of test plans in support of user requirements for moderately complex to complex software or IT systems
- Participate in all phases of risk management assessment and software/hardware development
- Ensure test design and documentation support all applicable clients, agency or industry standards timelines and budgets.
- Ensure testing conclusions and recommendations are fully supported by test results, and project managers are fully informed of testing status and application deviations from documented user requirements
