Job Description

The Quality Assurance Engineer (Process Quality Engineer) will be responsible for managing customer complaints, conducting root cause analyses, and developing corrective actions. This role involves maintaining quality documentation, participating in audits, and actively contributing to continuous improvement projects. The ideal candidate will have a technical degree, knowledge of automotive quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001), and strong problem-solving skills. Must have:
  • Handle customer complaints: fault analysis, 8D reports, action plans, and follow-up.
  • Liaise with customers on quality issues, continuous communication regarding complaints and other feedback.
  • Perform product and process controls, prepare and maintain quality documentation in manufacturing.
  • Conduct root cause analyses (5 Why, Ishikawa, FMEA) and define corrective/preventive actions.
  • Operate and develop quality management system according to automotive standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001).
  • Participate in internal and external audits (customer, certification, supplier).
  • Define and control measuring instruments, methods, and test protocols.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement projects (Lean, Six Sigma, scrap reduction, efficiency increase).
  • Prepare quality reports and statistics for management and customers.

Job Details

Your tasks will include:

  • Handling customer complaints: fault analysis, preparing 8D reports, developing and monitoring action plans
  • Liaising with customers on quality issues, continuous communication regarding complaints and other feedback
  • Performing product and process controls and preparing and maintaining relevant quality assurance documentation in the manufacturing process (e.g., first piece inspection, SPC control, visual aids, defect catalog, etc.)
  • Conducting root cause analyses (5 Why, Ishikawa diagram, FMEA) and defining corrective/preventive measures with the team
  • Operating and developing the quality management system according to automotive standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001)
  • Participating in internal and external audits (customer, certification, supplier)
  • Defining and controlling measuring instruments, measurement methods, and test protocols
  • Actively participating in continuous improvement projects (Lean, Six Sigma, scrap reduction, efficiency improvement)
  • Preparing quality reports and statistics for management and customers

You are the ideal candidate if you meet the following expectations:

  • Higher technical education (mechanical engineer, materials engineer, plastics industry engineer, or relevant field)
  • Advantage: At least 2-3 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in an automotive environment and plastic injection molding
  • Knowledge of automotive quality assurance tools: 8D, PPAP, APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA
  • Practical knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.
  • Communicative English language skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, good negotiation and communication abilities
