Job Description

As a Quality Engineer at Aptiv, you will be a key part of a global, diverse, and collaborative team, contributing to sophisticated compute and sensing products for a safer, greener, and more connected future of mobility. You will direct and supervise all product quality control and manufacturing process activities, issue audit action plans, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. This role involves managing customer complaints, evaluating manufacturing processes, and developing audit plans to ensure compliance with quality, safety, hygiene, and environmental standards.
Must Have:
  • Process customer complaints in collaboration with other departments.
  • Oversee the application of EOS systems and procedures.
  • Analyze the customer's product quality requirements.
  • Ensure the management of customer complaints.
  • Evaluate the manufacturing process with the Engineering Department.
  • Inform engineers of anomalies and decide corrective actions.
  • Examine and validate production and control means.
  • Implement periodic equipment inspection plans.
  • Participate in feasibility studies.
  • Develop and implement audit and control plans.
  • Control and update documentation.
  • Define medium and long-term objectives and actions.
  • Stop manufacturing if basic quality specifications are not met.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, hygiene, and environmental standards.
  • Master's or Engineering diploma in a technical field, preferably in quality.
  • Ability to work under stress and manage various projects.
  • Fluent in French and English.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to identify root causes.
  • Possess an attitude of urgency, passion for results, and team spirit.

Position Summary

As a Quality Engineer you will be part of a global, diverse and collaborative team and contributing on high sophisticated compute and sensing products driving to a safer, greener and more connected future of mobility. In this role you will play a key role in Aptiv. You will direct and supervise all product quality control and manufacturing process activities performed by the audit team and you will also be called to issue audit action plans to improve established quality ratios and to achieve expected quality.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and you will have the autonomy to explore your curiosity, having fun and celebrating success along the way.

You will be located in our Tangier's plant.

Your Role

  • Ensure the processing of customer complaints in collaboration with other departments;
  • Oversee the application of EOS systems and procedures;
  • Analyze the customer's product quality requirements;
  • Ensure the management of customer complaints;
  • Evaluate the manufacturing process in collaboration with the Engineering Department;
  • Inform the engineers of the Engineering Department of any anomalies and decide on corrective actions in collaboration with them;
  • Examine and validate the means of production and control and ensure the implementation of periodic equipment inspection plans;
  • Participate in feasibility studies in collaboration with the Engineering and Production departments;
  • Develop audit and control plans and ensure their implementation.
  • Ensure the control and updating of documentation.
  • Define medium and long term objectives and actions in collaboration with the immediate superior.
  • Stop the manufacturing process when basic quality specifications are not met
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, hygiene and environmental standards

Your Background

  • Master degree or Engineering diploma in a technical field , preferably in quality or equivalent.
  • Ability to work under stress and manage various projects.
  • Fluent French and English Speaking
  • excellent problem-solving skills and ability to identify root causes of issues.
  • Attitude of urgency, passion for result and team spirit
