Job Description

The R&D SW Quality Engineer will debug software products, develop and execute systematic tests, and maintain quality standards. This role involves creating and modifying software test plans, automated scripts, and test programs, as well as analyzing test results and consulting with development engineers. The engineer will also write test standards and procedures, ensure quality integration, and provide feedback on technical appraisals. Strong project management and leadership skills are essential for this role, which includes leading major projects and mentoring junior team members.
Must have:

Job Description:

Debugs software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products. Develops, modifies, and executes software test plans, automated scripts and programs for testing. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action. Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems. Provides feedback in preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages, systems, and computation software. Ensures quality computer integration into the overall functions of scientific computation, data acquisition, and processing.

  • Experience: Bachelors and 8+ years of related experience; at this level post-graduate coursework may be desirable or Masters degree and 6+ years of related experience or PhD and 3+ years of related experience

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $192,000

This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
