Job Description
This role focuses on R&S (Routing and Switching) design implementation and migration. The responsibilities include implementing and supporting Layer 2 and Layer 3 implementations, configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routers and switches, and designing network solutions. The role also involves executing migration projects and working independently. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and technical writing skills, be able to interact with customers, and possess good interpersonal and teamwork abilities. The role requires experience with various Cisco product lines and protocols.
Must Have:
- Experience with Catalyst, ASR1K, Nexus product lines.
- Working knowledge of BGP, OSPF, ISIS, IP/MPLS, QoS, and Multicast.
- Experience implementing and supporting Layer 2, Layer 3 implementations.
- Hands-on experience in installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience with Cisco products.
- Good communication skills.
Job Description
R&S – PDI / Migration
- Required Skills (Must Have and should meet all the below standards for qualifying to this role)
- Experience with at least 3 product lines like Catalyst 9000/6500/4500/3850/6800/ASR1K. Engineer must be experienced in and have internal product and/or Architecture knowledge.
- Experience with at least one - Nexus 7K/5K/2K product lines will be an added advantage.
- Working knowledge and experience BGP, OSPF, ISIS, IP/MPLS, QoS, Multicast is a definite plus.
- Experience Implementing /Supporting Layer 2, Layer 3 implementations will be key.
- Hands-on experience in Installation, Configuration and troubleshooting and/or Network Solution designing of Cisco Routers and switches.
- Executing Migration windows and migration projects will be a plus.
- Must have hands-on experience of 5-7 years on Cisco (CSCO) products
- A good communications skill is a must. Must have a demonstrated ability to relate to customer representatives at various levels.
- Must have good technical writing skills and have experience in writing test and implementation / Migration plans.
- Skills and experience in working independently.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork needed
