Job Summary
Our client is a global leader in containment technologies for the cryogenic transport and storage of liquefied gases, particularly LNG. They design, develop, and supply innovative systems for LNG carriers, onshore tanks, and energy infrastructure, while supporting shipyards and operators with a high level of technical expertise. This R&D role focuses on polymer materials engineering and database creation/management, involving low-maturity R&D projects. The position requires a deep understanding of polymer processes and formulations (thermosets or thermoplastics) and strong collaboration with materials and IT departments to structure a materials database and explore new polymer technologies.

Job Description
As part of low-maturity R&D, we are looking for expertise in polymer materials engineering, as well as in the creation and management of materials databases. The technical subjects concerning polymers involve a fine understanding of possible processes and formulations, whether in thermosets or thermoplastics. This project involves strong interaction with the various materials and IT departments. The sought-after expertise must be capable of working in close collaboration with the various stakeholders to guarantee the success of the project. A methodical and rigorous approach is expected to achieve objectives and capitalize on the results obtained.
The main objectives for this mission are:
- Preparation for structuring a materials database in partnership with IT. Coordination of the inter-service working group.
- Exploratory subjects on polymer technologies.
- Capitalization notes on explored subjects and obtained results.
