Job Summary

Pullman Paris Centre-Bercy is a 4-star hotel with 392 rooms and a convention center, designed as a vibrant meeting place for travelers and locals. The hotel aims to create a unique and welcoming hospitality experience for both guests and employees. The Receptionist/Welcomer will be a key member of the team, responsible for guest interactions, managing arrivals and departures, handling reservations, and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk, while also promoting hotel services and loyalty programs.

Must Have

  • Be present and visible in the lobby, meeting guests
  • Manage arrivals, check-in, check-out, and secure revenue
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and take reservations
  • Handle customer objections, remarks, and complaints
  • Be involved in marketing hotel services and loyalty programs
  • Transmit information to other departments and team members
  • Respect invoicing and collection procedures
  • Be responsible for cash register management
  • Proficiency in English
  • Proficiency in Office Suite and PMS
  • Ability to work effectively in a team

Job Description

We offer you the following challenge within the Reception team…

  • Be present and visible in the lobby, naturally meeting guests
  • Ensure all key missions: preparing arrivals, check-in, check-out, securing revenue, answering phone calls, emails, and occasionally taking reservations
  • Manage customer objections, remarks, and complaints
  • Be involved in marketing the hotel's various services and the Group's loyalty program
  • Carry luggage or room service if needed
  • Transmit necessary information to other departments (housekeeping, technical...) and to other members of your department
  • Respect invoicing and collection procedures
  • Be responsible for cash register management

Qualifications

You are the person we need if you…

  • Are proficient in English (the practice of a third foreign language is a plus)
  • Are proficient in Office Suite, PMS (Opera is a plus)
  • Have the ability to work effectively in a team as well as a real sense of initiative
  • Are dynamic, enthusiastic, spontaneous, and empathetic
  • Are attentive and proactive
  • Have excellent customer relations and a commercial mindset
  • Are rigorous and organized (processes, collections, etc.)

Additional Information

Your position also includes…

  • Permanent contract (CDI) 39 hours / week, 2 consecutive days off
  • Gross remuneration over 13 months subject to reduced seniority to 3 months
