Job Summary

Veolia Eau Région Ile-de-France is seeking a Lean Project Manager M/F based in Puteaux. The role involves accompanying operational teams and their managers in their Lean transformation, integrating Lean principles and continuous improvement. The manager will help teams understand and pilot their performance through visual management and problem-solving, working across multiple sites within a geographical territory. This includes identifying operational challenges, conducting field immersions, facilitating workshops, coaching managers on Lean practices, and contributing to regional and national Lean initiatives.

Must Have

Thus, Veolia Eau Région Ile de France produces and distributes drinking water every day for its 453,900 subscribers across more than 16,000 km of pipelines, in 180 municipalities. To contribute to the development of our activity, we are looking for a Lean Project Manager M/F based in Puteaux.

Job Description

Customer satisfaction culture and continuous improvement are at the heart of Eau France's corporate project. The Lean approach has been progressively deployed throughout the company since 2023.

Within a regional Lean team, you will be responsible for supporting operational teams and their managers in their Lean transformation. The objective of supporting the teams is to lead them to sustainably integrate Lean principles and continuous improvement into their operations. This involves helping teams understand their performance, manage it through visual management, and improve it through problem-solving. You will support teams within a territorial geographical scope with a multi-site dimension. In this context, you may be required to support 3 to 6 departments per year, some simultaneously.

You are responsible for the proper application of the Lean approach within the scope of the departments you support, both in terms of method, team dynamics, and transformation pace.

You will work in collaboration with regional sectors and ensure the upskilling of teams on the Lean approach.

Your main missions will be:

  • Discuss with the management of the departments concerned to identify their operational challenges
  • Organize interviews and field immersions to help teams understand and analyze the performance of their department
  • Facilitate workshops to mobilize teams around Lean principles, support the implementation of visual management by the team
  • Coach the manager for field visits (gemba), facilitate team meetings in Lean operation, deploy visual management, etc.
  • Pilot the Lean transformation in the departments you support and monitor its progress with the regional Lean team
  • Contribute to the animation of the regional Lean approach and the dynamics of the national Lean network (sharing best practices, etc.)

You will benefit from the methodological support of a Regional Lean Director, an expert in Lean management.

As team support is carried out directly in their work environment, frequent travel within the territory is to be expected (B driving license essential).

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience in management and/or Lean deployment.

You appreciate field work and enjoy being in contact with operational teams.

You are recognized for your dynamism and interpersonal skills. You know the fundamentals of Lean; a Green Belt is a plus.

You want to learn and develop your skills in Lean management.

You have the ability to lead a group: to elicit ideas from the group, guide reflection, foster adhesion and change.

You have the ability to manage projects, you are autonomous, attentive and pedagogical, you have a sense of results, an appetite for measurement and performance, good analytical and synthesis skills are the necessary assets to succeed in this position.
