Job Summary

As a Senior Data Architect at Redcare Pharmacy, you will be instrumental in designing and owning scalable, secure data architectures and pipelines across platforms like Azure Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, AKS, and Power BI. You will collaborate with various teams, define data models and governance frameworks, and enable users on the platform. This role involves mentoring, driving innovation with Microsoft ecosystem tools, and ensuring data quality and compliance within a rapidly growing digital health company.

Must Have

  • Design and own scalable, secure data architectures and pipelines across platforms (Azure Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, AKS, Power BI).
  • Collaborate closely with data engineers, analysts, MLOps Lead, AI and Data Architects, Data & AI Governance team, Cloud Infrastructure team, and business stakeholders.
  • Define and maintain data models, governance frameworks, reference architectures, guidelines, best practices, and operating principles.
  • Onboard and enable different types of users on the platform with clear standards, training material, and recommended ways of working.
  • Mentor and provide architectural oversight to use-case teams, engineers, and architects.
  • Drive innovation by identifying opportunities to leverage new tools and services in the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Ensure data quality, compliance, and observability across all data handling and data product lifecycles.
  • Extensive experience in data architecture and data platforms, ideally in cloud ecosystems like Azure.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, AKS, and Power BI.

About the role:

Are you excited about shaping how data is structured, governed, and used across a rapidly growing digital health company? As a Senior Data Architect (m/f/d), you will lay the foundations for a future-ready data architecture and data pipelines in a collaborative, impact-driven environment. You will be the senior technical owner of our data landscape (Azure, Databricks, Fabric, AKS, Power BI) and work closely with our MLOps Lead as well as AI and Data Architects within our team.

About your tasks:

  • Design and own scalable, secure data architectures and pipelines across our platforms (Azure Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, AKS, Power BI).
  • Collaborate closely with data engineers, analysts, MLOps Lead, AI and Data Architects, the Data & AI Governance team, and the Cloud Infrastructure team, as well as business stakeholders, to align architecture with business needs.
  • Define and maintain data models, governance frameworks, reference architectures, guidelines, best practices and operating principles for our data and analytics platforms.
  • Onboard and enable different types of users (data engineers, analysts, data scientists, power users) on the platform with clear standards, training material and recommended ways of working.
  • Mentor and provide architectural oversight to use-case teams, engineers and architects, ensuring solutions fit the overall data and platform strategy.
  • Drive innovation by identifying opportunities to leverage new tools and services in the Microsoft ecosystem and continuously improve our data platform and pipelines.
  • Ensure data quality, compliance, and observability across all data handling and data product lifecycles.

Qualifications

About you:

  • You have extensive experience in data architecture and data platforms, ideally in cloud ecosystems like Azure.
  • You are familiar with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, AKS and Power BI and know how to leverage them effectively for data and analytics use cases.
  • You enjoy shaping things from the ground up and thrive in dynamic, greenfield environments.
  • You care about impact, enablement and collaboration, building meaningful, well-governed solutions and helping diverse user groups and teams grow and deliver successfully.
