Job Description

Performs goods reception at the point of sale (POS), records the number assigned to each delivery in a register (goods entry register – reception log). Verifies the conformity of delivered products with the order and arranges products as required, potentially using handling equipment. May participate in unloading goods. Transmits delivery documents to the indicated departments after attaching them. Is present during delivery hours and ensures the movement of goods from the truck dock to the point of sale's (POS) storage (or cold room).

• Respects the procedures defined by management concerning the unloading of goods.
• Ensures control of the delivery date, the number of packages (with that indicated on the loading slip) and verifies that the packages are indeed intended for the POS (compares the container numbers indicated on them with those indicated on the loading slip) in the presence of the transporter.
• Ensures in the presence of the transporter:
• quantitative control of the delivered merchandise (checking against the delivery note all delivered goods)
• qualitative control of the delivered merchandise (appearance of containers and packaging, respect for the cold chain, expiry date (DLC), ...)
• Identifies qualitative and quantitative delivery disputes. Is responsible for indicating them on the delivery note, noting them in the presence of the transporter, establishing non-conformity reports (BNC), and informing management.

Qualifications

Takes initiative, dynamic and motivated. Works autonomously. Works one week in the morning from Monday to Saturday and one week in the afternoon from Monday to Friday.
