Job Description

As a Record to Report Ops Specialist at Accenture, you will be responsible for determining financial outcomes by collecting operational data/reports, conducting analysis, and reconciling transactions. Your tasks will include posting journal entries, preparing balance sheet reconciliations, reviewing entries and reconciliations, preparing cash forecasting statements, supporting month-end closing, preparing reports, and assisting in audits. You will analyze and resolve moderately complex problems, potentially creating new solutions while adapting existing methods. This role requires an understanding of the strategic direction set by senior management related to team goals. You will interact with supervisors, peers, and management levels at the client or within Accenture. The work may involve managing small teams and/or work efforts within the client or Accenture. The role might require working in rotational shifts.

What would you do? You will be aligned with our Finance Operations vertical and will be helping us in determining financial outcomes by collecting operational data/reports, whilst conducting analysis and reconciling transactions. Posting journal entries, preparing balance sheet reconciliations, reviewing entries and reconciliations, preparing cash forecasting statement, supporting month end closing, preparing reports and supports in audits.
What are we looking for? Involves balancing all balance sheet accounts against sub-ledger or other non-general ledger based source data to verify whether the balance sheet accounts are in balance with the source system feeding the general ledger. Differences which arise are addressed as reconciling items.
Roles and Responsibilities: •In this role you are required to do analysis and solving of moderately complex problems • May create new solutions, leveraging and, where needed, adapting existing methods and procedures • The person would require understanding of the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals • Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor • May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture • Guidance would be provided when determining methods and procedures on new assignments • Decisions made by you will often impact the team in which they reside • Individual would manage small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture • Please note that this role may require you to work in rotational shifts
