Flying Bark Productions, an innovative animation studio, seeks a Recruiter for a 6-month full-time contract. Based in Glendale, LA, this role involves partnering with Production and People & Culture teams to attract top talent. Responsibilities include maintaining industry networks, creating engaging job ads, screening candidates, scheduling and participating in interviews, managing candidate communication, assisting with contract negotiations, coordinating skills tests, ensuring NDAs and reference checks, maintaining BambooHR records, and documenting job descriptions. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proficient in Microsoft Office and GSuite, adaptable, and passionate about animation.
Must have:
- Partner with Production and People & Culture teams.
- Maintain strong network of industry contacts.
- Create and post engaging job ads.
- Screen and shortlist candidates.
- Schedule and participate in interviews.
- Communicate with candidates, including offers and rejections.
- Assist Producers with contract negotiations.
- Coordinate skills tests and track applicant progress.
- Ensure NDAs and reference checks are completed.
- Keep accurate records in BambooHR HRIS.
- Help update and document job descriptions.
- Available full time for 6 months in Glendale, LA office.
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and GSuite.
- Adaptable and comfortable managing changing priorities.

Job Details
Flying Bark Productions is a dynamic and innovative animation studio dedicated to pushing the boundaries of character animation and storytelling. We are working on exciting projects such as Avatar: The Last Airbender feature film, Netflix's Ghostbusters animated series and Stranger Things animated series, as well as our production Tales From Outer Suburbia by Shaun Tan.

Your Role
As our Recruiter, you will partner closely with our Production and People & Culture teams to attract and hire top talent for our growing studio. Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining a strong network of industry contacts and staying informed about potential candidates
- Creating and posting engaging job ads aligned with our brand
- Screening and shortlisting candidates for Producers and Supervisors
- Scheduling and participating in interviews
- Communicating with candidates throughout the process, including sending offers and rejection letters
- Assisting Producers with contract negotiations
- Coordinating skills tests and tracking applicant progress
- Ensuring NDAs and reference checks are completed
- Keeping accurate records in BambooHR HRIS
- Helping update and document job descriptions
