The Regional IT Infrastructure Engineer will manage IT infrastructure across plants, support R&D standards, oversee outsourcing, and ensure service levels. This role requires strong technical expertise, autonomy, and problem-solving skills to manage incidents and contribute to IT budgeting, ensuring confidentiality and promoting innovation.

  • Perimeter: End Point, RFP, Helpdesk Operations, EP Security.
  • Deploy standard group infrastructure within plants.
  • Support R&D technical standards.
  • Select and manage national outsourcers.
  • Define & ensure different levels of service.
  • Promote innovation at regional level.
  • Guarantee confidentiality of information.
  • Manage incidents not treated by outsourcers.
  • Assists in preparation of the IT budget.

At least 18+ years of past IT experience and very strong technical background (such as a Master’s degree in Computer Science).

You must have high autonomy, a good understanding of underlying IT concepts, strong motivation to learn, and resourcefulness in proposing adequate solutions to complex problems.

Required transversal and communication skills:

  • Supplier management.
  • Project management.
  • Reporting and communication with internal customers.
  • Fluent English (Toeic 785 or similar level).
  • EP Asset Management.
  • Autonomous working capabilities.
  • Customer management.

Required technical skills (similar competing technologies also accepted):

Basic Knowledge of services

  • WAN / LAN / WiFi (TCP/IP, VPN, QoS, Cisco, wiring best practices)
  • Telephony & audio/video conferencing (CUCM, Analog, VoIP, ToIP)
  • Active Directory (DC, GPO), DHCP, DNS, SMTP
  • Datacenter (Cooling, Fire prevention, Racking)
  • Remote Desktop Services (Servers, Thin Clients)
  • Monitoring (Centreon / Prometheus)

User environment and support

  • Help Desk management (Processes, ITIL, Incident, Problem, SLA, …)
  • Imaging, software deployment, inventory and asset management (Altiris)
  • Endpoint (Laptop, Desktop, Tablets, Thin Clients) hardware
  • Printing (copiers, multifunction devices, ...)
  • VIQCT Management

Security

  • Internal audit / Security audit
  • Anti virus (McAfee, XDR, TRILIX)
  • Syslog, Splunk
  • Single sign-on solutions (Evidian)
