As Regional Vice President, Success Delivery Program/Project Management, you lead a team of Program and Project Managers to execute global initiatives. The role focuses on project delivery and positioning, coordinating with customers and team members onsite and remotely throughout the project lifecycle.
This role aligns business outcomes, defines success criteria, and supports customers throughout their Calix journey. Additionally, you will oversee all aspects of programs and projects, including planning, implementation, issue and risk mitigation, financial forecasting, and communication. You will build strong relationships with customers, partners, and team members, and your goal oriented, and deadline-driven approach will be key to your success.
In this role, you will leverage a matrix staffing model to support multiple teams within the Success organization, both directly and indirectly. Your collaborative approach is key to aligning teams and achieving critical goals for Calix Success and organizational objectives.
Responsibilities and Duties:
This position reports to Associate Vice President, Success Delivery:
Assume full responsibility of all Programs/Projects within Success Delivery including P&L and team management.
Lead, inspire, and support a team of program/project managers to ensure successful delivery of projects within the Success Delivery organization. Ensure that all team members receive appropriate training, adhere to established procedures, and deliver products and services effectively to both internal and external customers.
Offer strategic guidance to promote customer success and satisfaction through active engagement with key stakeholders.
Manage revenue, margins, and customer satisfaction targets.
Identify process and/or policy gaps and develop processes and policies to ensure alignment with Success and Calix business strategies.
Monitor and manage portfolio for program/project interdependencies, program risk, schedule, scope, resource, capital budget, and manage communication plans both internally and externally.
Collaboration with peers to forecast the upcoming workload to ensure readiness by driving responsible planning and allocation.
Partner with sales leadership to help achieve bookings goals and support creative delivery solutions in support of strategic opportunities.
Drive delivery, execution, and change management based upon SOW.
Prepare financial forecasts as part of the monthly, quarterly, and annual business forecast process.
Own all project exceptions, escalations, conflict resolutions, and lead communication with clients.
Qualifications:
BA/BS (or equivalent) degree
PMP Certification desired
Six Sigma Black Belt Certification is a plus
MBA is a plus
10+ years’ experience in a professional services leadership role with enterprise class software and hardware implementation delivery
Possesses strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, change management, presentation, and customer engagement skills, including financial and business acumen
Knowledge of the communications industry, and customer’s business issues
Knowledge of major US provider’s network and processes (systems, planning, engineering, and deployment)
Knowledge base in SAAS, IP, ATM, and/or TDM internetworking, switching or transmission desired
Calix product knowledge desired
Demonstrated record of success in previous positions.
Excellent critical thinking skills
Strong ability to lead, influence, and drive virtual teams to achieve common goals
Familiar with Industry Standard Project Management Methodologies, Timesheet Management, and expense tracking tools
A visionary leader who strategically aligns resources, drives innovation, and steers the company towards sustainable long-term success
Exemplary written and verbal communication skills, with a strong presence at the senior-to-executive level and expertise in presenting, facilitation, and storytelling

Ability to travel up to 20% of the time

Remote-based position located in the United States.
Compensation will vary based on geographical location (see below) within the United States. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's location of residence and multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, and education.
There are different ranges applied to specific locations. The average base pay range (or OTE range for sales) in the U.S. for the position is listed below.
